About Michele

My Story

Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine I would be teaching other people to develop a love for fitness and health. From the age of 9, I was 100% convinced that I was going to be on Broadway as a professional actor. This vision led me to pursue my BFA in Musical Theater at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York City, and only after several national tours did I start considering making a shift into the fitness industry.

I became certified as a primary group fitness instructor through AFAA and started teaching bootcamp classes as a "day job" in New York, but quickly discovered that this was something much more than a fall back for me. After getting certified in several Les Mills formats (BODYPUMP, CXWORX, BODYCOMBAT and GRIT) I developed a true passion for sharing the empowering experience of gaining strength with those around me.

Since then, I have dabbled in Crossfit, Olympic Weightlifting, Spinning, HIIT training, and everything in between! Each of these has taught me a tremendous amount about myself, but more importantly about the power that fitness has: it allows you to surpass your expectation of your own abilities. It pushes you to grow beyond what you thought was possible. This is an experience that transfers into your every day life: your job, your relationships, your passions--and it forces you to see beyond in those areas too. It is this experience that drives me to continue working with people to improve their lives.

I love a tough workout, a peanut butter-based dessert (or ANY dessert, for that matter!) and a night spent watching Grey's Anatomy. Feel free to reach out to me to chat about food, fitness or anything in between!
